Smooth Waves

.
I saw this trailer for Waves last week in the movie theater and thought it seemed new, and sure enough it's been dropped online today with "new" fanfare -- Waves is the new film from Krisha director Trey Edward Shults that stars Kelvin Harrison Jr (already one buzzy performance into 2019 with Luce) and Sterling K. Brown as a father and son at odds over...

... I don't know, something. Masculinity itself is the feel I get from both trailers but I have totally avoided reading reviews or summations so I don't know really what the plot is. I shared the previous trailer at this link -- Waves hits theaters in just a couple of weeks on November 15th.

A little of topic....have you seen the trailer for "Little Joe?" I had not heard of this movie until yesterday and it seems to be right up your alley. Oh and it has Ben Whishaw.

I haven't watched the trailer yet, but that's because I'm seeing a press screening of it next week and didn't want to ruin anything for myself. I am aware of the movie though yes and very much looking forward to it :)

Lucas Hedges is also in the first-rate cast of Waves.
