Good Morning, World

.
A happy 50 to the one true god of Arakian Cinema, Johnathon Schaech -- true he hasn't made a movie with Gregg Araki in twenty full years (that'd be the delightful Splendor in 1999) but he's always there in spirit. That said the above gif isn't from an Araki movie either -- like I said it's been twenty years, I've posted all of that, click through the archives to see. Not that Welcome to Woop Woop, the movie that is from, is any younger -- that one's from 1997!

And I really didn't intend to turn this birthday wish into a "hey remember when you were in stuff" post -- according to his IMDb page he's still working plenty. I do wish he'd show back up in an Araki project though. If there'd been a second season of Now Apocalypse he so could've played somebody's hot dad that one of the other characters had hot dad sex with. And now I'm angry that Now Apocalypse was canceled all over again! This post is going all wrong. Happy birthday or whatever, I mean damn.
