So any thoughts on last night's Oscars, folks?
I just have one:
.
Let's just pretend that the entire #Oscars was that couple of minutes where Olivia Colman was on stage, shall we? pic.twitter.com/QLpdRsjXDZ— Jason Adams (@JAMNPP) February 25, 2019

Overall it was a slog but I didn't miss the presence of a host one bit. I'm terribly disappointed for Glenn Close but have to hope that she'll have yet another chance. However Olivia Colman was completely enchanting. Without question the best acceptance speech of the night.
Spike Lee looked like a grape flavored Cap'n Crunch.
Green Book winning Best Original Screenplay over The Favourite is right up (down?) there with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?'s screenplay winning over Bonnie and Clyde's.
So Mahershala Ali wins the Best Supporting Actor award for playing a gay man, while the real Best Supporting Actor was Richard E. Grant, playing a gay man,
and
Rami Malek wins the Best Actor award for playing a gay man,
and
Olivia Colman wins the Best Actress award for playing a pansexual woman,
and
"Driving Mr. Daisy" wins the Best Film award for a movie about a gay man and his driver, while the real Best picture was "The Favourite", about a lesbian triangle.
Meanwhile, the number of out actors nominated = 0, unless I'm missing someone.
What is wrong with this picture?
