One of the best movies I saw at NYFF that I never got around to reviewing was Christian Petzold's Transit, which stars the strangely erotic (as well displayed in this post here) Franz Rogowski as a man fleeing the Nazis sans papers stuck in a seaside town seemingly stepped out of time. There hasn't been a rush for me to write any review since the film hasn't been released yet here, but I guess I better get my shit together because it's coming -- March 1st it plays the States, and we've got a poster as seen above and a trailer as seen below. Keep your eyeballs out for this one, it's super terrific.
