This picture of Luca Guadagnino hiding behind a giant plant is giving me some serious Day of the Triffids vibes, and now I am obsessed with seeing what a Luca remake of Day of the Triffids would look like. Can you imagine? He would have Tilda Swinton fucking those plants, y'all. Anyway as amazing as that idea is that's not why we're here -- we're here because there is genuine Luca Guadgnino news, and I just wrote it up over at The Film Experience, so click on over there for that. There isn't any plant fucking, I am sad to say, but there is Julianne Moore, and that's... like, almost as good. Okay no offense to Juli but no, no it isn't. It's not as good! Juli would totally agree with me on this. She gets it.
