Lakeith Stanfield is Uncut

The movie called Good Time starring Robert Pattinson was my 8th favorite movie of last year, and so naturally I was already looking forward to their follow-up - today's news that Lakeith Stanfield here has just joined the cast of it is only making me more so. The movie is called Uncut Gems and the lead is actually Adam Sandler, which always gives me pause until I remember Punch-drunk Love and The Meyerowitz Stories and I remember oh right he can be fine.

The movie is about a gambling addict who owns a jewelry store in the diamond district in Manhattan - has there ever been a movie to truly take advantage of that neighborhood? Honestly I was maybe sold on location alone, but that's just my hometown dorkiness talking. Anyway Lakeith will play  "a key ally to a famous client of the  store." Okay.
