NYFF Diaries: Day 10

.
The 2017 New York Film Festival is currently in session - is runs through October 15th, and if you're around you should go see a movie or seven! We've been keeping tabs on what we've been watching at press screenings, and then we've been reviewing those movies over at The Film Experience. And this morning's new screening is a pretty big one, you guys...

October 3rd
Call Me By Your Name (dir. Luca Guadagnino)

What do I even write right now? Just writing the title there above made my arms flop around with gooseflesh. As stated yesterday I've been clamoring for Luca's take on Aciman's novel for sixteen straight months - this feels like Christmas. Gay Christmas! And there's a ripe peach under the tree! Happy Gay Christmas, everyone! (And here's the movie's trailer in case you somehow - I have no idea how! - missed it.)

Oh and make sure to check out my Instagram for photographs
from the press conference following today's screening!

I've somehow, inexplicably, seen it twice already (in Norway!!!) and I still envy you. It won't be out here for real until January. Enjoy!!!
