I have seen a variant of this image around for awhile (see it here) which is flipped around so the legs are facing downwards but it wasn't until I saw the original version seen above that I noticed the reflection of Armie in the water, which confirmed this was an actual shot from the set and not a re-purposed shot of two random dudes playing footsie in water. (I wasn't sure because this is not a shot that is in the movie.) But hey Armie!
Anyway I didn't want you guys to think I could let this entire day go by without mentioning CMBYN! That's still a blasphemous thought. I'm hoping once I see the film a third time this weekend I can allow my brain to breathe again... who are we kidding? I will fall into another rapturous swoon, there's no saving me at this point. Plus I'm currently in the process of harassing the PR people for invites to every single press screening so I'm hoping that I won't have to wait the full six weeks til it comes out at Thanksgiving as well. I KNOW HATE AWAY BUT I WANT TO LIVE INSIDE OF THIS MOVIE. It's like CMBYN was created in a lab to be my perfect escape from our current nightmare reality though - it's gorgeous gay and sad, all my favorite things!
This shot is absolutely in the movie lol, unless the US censors minded it in a way that the UK ones didn't? The film passed the UK film board without any cuts; god, I hope you got to see the version we had over here...
I've seen the movie five times in the US and that scene is not in the movie. I hope there is a directors cut on the DVD.
