The Shape of Water is Out in 85 Days

.
I'm one hundred and fifty percent not watching any more trailers for Guillermo Del Toro's The Shape of Water - I watched and shared the first trailer here and since then the reviews are in and everyone who has seen it wants to have steamy fish sex with the movie and I am sold, sold, sold a thousand times over. But they released a red-band trailer for it today so if you still need convincing, convince away:

It's out December 8th. In related news if you haven't seen Maudie yet - the movie in which Sally Hawkins stars as the Canadian folk painter Maud Lewis - you should give it a chance. I was skeptical at first because I just can't with Ethan Hawke but Hawkins is so lovely on-screen she always wins me over no matter the reservations I have going in. (See also Happy-Go-Lucky.) It's an achingly sweet (in the positive, not the cloying, sense) little movie.
