As I reminded you yesterday Park Chan-wook's glorious new film The Handmaiden is out in theaters today and if it's playing within a plane-ride's distance of where you're sitting, get on the plane! Get on the plane! It's worth the Dramamine hangover and the jet lag, dammit. Anyway a few new clips were released today to hype us up and I feel the need to share one specific one here...

This scene was hinted at in the film's trailer way back when and I already wet myself with anticipation then - now that I have seen the film I can say for sure that the library in The Handmaiden plays a profoundly important role (this is only the set's introduction - it becomes more and more central as the film progresses) and it, uh, it does not disappoint!
Absolutely nothing in this film disappoints.
