I thought that the New York Film Festival ending would finally give me a chance to breathe again but good god was I wrong -- my calendar is suddenly even more stuffed than ever! As just mentioned in our previous post NewFest begins tonight; there's another film festival of note (about which I am going to post in just a minute) starting tomorrow; and I just realized that Park Chan-wook's glorious new film The Handmaiden opens this weekend here in NYC!
I haven't even had the chance to review this yet - I saw it a couple months ago and at this point before writing up my thoughts I'm going to have to refresh my memory. Thankfully it's amazing entertainment and I can't wait to see it a second time. I just have to... find the damn time. For now just enjoy these two pictures of the film's male lead, Jung-woo Ha.
