Hunk and hometown boy (he was born in Rochester NY) Hugh O'Brian passed away over the long weekend at the tender age of Ninety-fuckin-One -- it feels like we were wishing him a happy 90th with beefcake pictures just yesterday. (Actually strangely it was 3 years ago -- clearly we'd gotten his birth year incorrect before.)
O'Brian played Wyatt Earp on a 50s TV series and stuffed his big self into cowboy boots and chaps for several other roles over the years - a former Marine and six foot of solid muscle, clearly he looked the part. Or we liked looking at his parts. Whatever. Thanks for the memories, Hugh.
