That's who else but Pedro Almodovar talking to the Telegraph about the lack of serious roles for adult women in American cinema - he was poised to be our momentary savior on that score and make a movie with Meryl Streep but he decided to make it in Spain instead and voila, his new movie Julieta was born. Anyway it's not like Meryl's hurting for work. In case you missed last week's word that Pedro's got a big retrospective happening Stateside very soon, read that here.
