Channing Tatum is remaking Splash, but with a gender-flip - he's going to be the merman that gets tossed ashore like so much seaweed, while Jillian Bell (you should know her from the 21 Jump Street sequel, at the very least) will be playing the Tom Hanks role. Jillian is actually the one behind this - I guess she's fairly successful with TV stuff like Workaholics, but I'm not super familiar with her. Anyway any excuse to have Channing Tatum wet and half-naked is an excuse I am willing to accept. Fish, ho!

This sounds awful. Pissing on my childhood once again. Maybe when he gets his legs he can magically thrust and gyrate to some mediocre R&B. Gag.
