Oscar winning actress Olivia de Havilland will be turning 100 on July 1st and The Film Experience is marking that amazingness with a centennial celebration of her many performances - today I took on the 1946 evil twin thriller The Dark Mirror, because of course I did.
Okay I also could've written up some thoughts on Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte or Lady in a Cage - Olivia's contributions to the horror genre are memorable ones! - but I'd seen both of those before and on occasion written about them too, but I'd never seen The Dark Mirror. It is worth seeing! It's pretty silly but she's very good in it.

My best friend is writing a biography of Miss de Havilland. I am pleased to have two emails and a letter from her, which I will cherrish forever.
