You wash Ewan's back and he will probably wash yours -- this shot's from the opening credits of the 1996 film Brassed Off, which was right smack-dab in the middle of Ewan crafting his rep for getting his bits out for any and every role. Sure enough! Couldn't even make it through five minutes of the movie. What a doll.
Today's his 45th birthday so naturally we wish him the happiest; we just watched him in Jane Got a Gun over the weekend, the long long delayed Western with Natalie Portman, and even if the drama behind the scenes of that flick turned out to be ten times the drama of anything that ended up on the screen (Ewan's fake nose is the most exciting thing happening) we were still happy to be seeing him, since that's too rare these days. He's been too busy taking motorcycle-rides across the globe... where he gets naked, of course.
