Great Moments In Movie Shelves #43

.
Believe it or not (but something tells me you'll believe it) I've never actually seen the 1956 musical High Society, starring Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and Grace Kelly. Me, never having seen a musical? Why I never! Anyway I only just now realized I've never seen the film as I used it for today's Five Frames, and as I was scanning through it looking for frames I came upon...

... holy shit, Total Shelf Nirvana!
But wait, it gets better...

Yes, Grace Kelly just pushed in a hidden lever (made out of books, natch!) and a fully stocked bar appeared out from inside the shelves. Can you imagine? I mean can you imagine??? This is literally the highest height of elegance. It's the classiest shit my eyeballs have ever seen or ever will see. I can barely stand it. I can't stand it! I need a drink. Gimme a stiff one, Gracie.

JA - you are my 'pervy, movie buff friend' and I can not believe you have never seen one of my favorites! THIS is a first, and you've given me greater appreciation for the film. PEACE.

There's more than this one scene set in the library in the movie. Frank and Bing also sing "Well, Did You Evah!" around that bar. The movie is definitely worth checking out.
