It makes sense that Nick, the writer,
would take to the library to try and find Gatsby.

So the old man tells them, and sure enough all of those gorgeous books are just being used as coasters. What a damn travesty! No Gatsby wouldn't be hiding there among those dark and dusties -- he'll only be found in the razzle-dazzle. Sounds like a certain director...
