Great Moments In Movie Shelves #1

.
Meeting the President, Being There (1979)

It struck me the other day while watching this movie that I really should do more to express my Bookshelf Fetish here at the blog, so that's what we-re doing - say hello to a new series! I know I'm not alone in gasping at such sights on-screen, so we're gonna start collecting our favorite examples whenever they strike us.

And please offer up recommendations in the comments!
What are your favorite movie libraries?

Library scenes from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and The Day After Tomorrow (The New York Public Library) come to mind...also in Jumper, where Hayden Christiansen teleports messily into a children's library from a river, bringing lots of water along with him.

Beauty and the Beast definitely. Clue. If you're willing to include TV, the library in early Buffy.

I'll second @SoloZach with Henry Higgins library in My Fair Lady. I'm also rather fond of the Hogwarts library in the eight Harry Potter films.
