There aren't many things in this world that I love more than Robot-Maria's dance scenes in Fritz Lang's Metropolis, so when I found out The Film Experience was celebrating the theme of "Artificial Intelligence" I knew right where this week's "Beauty vs Beast" would be heading. Go over there to vote! And try not to devolve into a mass of salivating eyeballs while you do so, it's totally unbecoming.

We are very lucky that the missing footage was found in Argentina and it made one of the greatest Silent movies even better. Metropolis is easily one of the greatest silent films of all time! Now, if those final four minutes could only surface, it would be complete.
Pray that someone has a real print of London After Midnight, too!
