Who Wore It Best?

.
Redmayne Blues or Oyelowo Reds?

Personally I don't really like it when dudes go for colored tuxes; I'm a traditionalist when it comes to formal dress for men. Hundreds of years have whittled the tuxedo down to B&W perfection, and I don't really see the need for anybody to get all side-show snazzy with it. Look at Chris Evans + you see the magic a traditional tux can work...

... although granted even Miles Teller is all,
"Okay it doesn't fit me quite like that."
Chris Evans might not be the fairest measuring stick.

actually... the traditional tux is navy blue, because in the days of black and white television, navy blue photographed better.

A suit is a suit is a suit (or tux whatever -__-) Every man still wears the same old boring sexless tuxedo that they've been wearing since Queen Victoria was on the throne while women can wear any design that the human mind can conceive. Menswear is just depressing :(

Depends on your def of "traditional" - the tux was birthed in blackness but yes, in mid-Century midnight blue became increasingly popular. Never more popular than black though.

Sexless is not how I'd describe a tuxedo but to each their own! Tuxedos drive me crazy with lust.

Navy is still a fairly conservative choice. I love navy tuxedos.

@ Dear JA - Yes an attractive man can look attractive in a tux but an attractive man look attractive in most thing and there are many - Many - MANY things that an attractive man will look more attractive in than a tux :)

Especially at this moment we're living in - women dress like walking porn while every man is covered up in the same uniform no matter how old or young or fat or thin...
