Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

... you can learn from:

Bernadette: It's funny. We all sit around mindlessly slagging off that vile stink-hole of a city. But in its own strange way, it takes care of us. I don't know if that ugly wall of suburbia's been put there to stop them getting in, or us getting out. Come on. Don't let it drag you down. Let it toughen you up. I can only fight because I've learnt to. Being a man one day and a woman the next isn't an easy thing to do.

The 20th anniversary of Priscilla was earlier this year (in August) and to celebrate the School of the Visual Arts here in NYC is having a screening next week with the film's director Stephan Elliott the film's much celebrated costume designer Lizzy Gardiner there in person! That is too cool, y'all should clearly go.

Thank you, thank you for this. I can remember the fun of seeing this at our gay film festival and almost jumping out of my seat with joy over the story, the visuals and the acting!
