I've been keeping my eye on that recently released great big beautiful Werner Herzog boxed-set for deals and over the long weekend Amazon dropped the price down to around a hundred bucks, in case you've been wanting to get it but the $150 price-tag was too steep. In related news if you're in NYC BAM is showing Les Blank's short doc Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe this weekend, which is about a bet Herzog lost with Errol Morris which leads to yes a shoe being eaten. I've actually never seen it myself but I'll be hitting the John Waters events come this weekend so it'll have to wait.
