I guess it's maybe John Waters' fault that Joe Dallesandro's invaded my brain this week - just that John brought up Andy Warhol several times during that retrospective of his (John's that is) the other week, and the seed, as it were, was planted. I posted several shots of Joe over on the Tumblr earlier. I actually forgot that Dallesandro played a role in Waters' movie Cry Baby - he didn't say anything at the retrospective so I googled around to see what John had to say on Little Joe and the only quote I could find was repeated several places (this link is actually a great look by Joe back at his career though): "He forever changed male sexuality in the cinema." Yup.
