What are you guys' thoughts on Chris O'Donnell (who's turning 44 today)? I've never gotten him, he's never done anything for me, he's the king of blandsville as far as I'm concerned. But whenever he does come up (which, you know, is nigh on never) my boyfriend expresses the opposite sentiment - he thinks he's adorable. And I s'pose somebody must agree with my boyfriend since we all know who the hell Chris O'Donnell even is. So you tell me.

Let me take you all back to the bygone era known as the early 90s and regal you of tales about a little movie called Crazy Love. Part of this movie was filmed in my home state in a little place called Truth or Consequences New Mexico (about 3 hours from my little neck of the woods). The filming of that movie was about the biggest thing eve to hit my state. Chris O'Donnell fever spread through my little town like nobodies business and I was not immune. Yum yum yum. Then we all watched that movie and got over it. Poor Drew.
Nowadays though? Meh.
He was super hot in "Batman Forever" in my opinion.
When he was younger, he was cute/adorable enough for me to not care about the encroaching blandness (plus I was young and naive blah blah). Today? Eh.
Watch Men Don't Leave (1990), he was really very good in that, for real. Plus that movie will make you cry like a little baybeh.
I'm with your boyfriend, and so is my hubby -- we just saw him on the tube yesterday and fought for ownership of his hot a*&. I don't care how bland he and his work are in real life -- in my imagination, he's a firecracker ;o)
The very awful but at the same time amazing Men Don't Leave is why we all need to love Chris O'Donnell. That movie has the most amazing moments of scene stealing brilliance while at the same time being completely ridiculous.
I'm somewhere in between those two sentiments. He's attractive but not much of an actor, of God the horror that was In Love and War!, and very vanilla.
Bland Basic Bitch
When Chris was young he literally had the most perfect human face I have ever witnessed. He's still hotish though.
I find him kinda adorable and is the sole reason why I watch NCIS: Los Angeles. He might look bland, but you never know--he has 5 kids, so I suspect he's quite active in the bedroom.
He never did anything for me, but he really nailed the coffin shut with his idiotic born-again "Christian anti-gay remarks. It was shortly after that his career died. Maybe he didn't understand his fan base? Glad he's gone. He was never more than a warm body in a role. Bland and not very talented IMHO
