I Am Link

.
--- Green Warrior - Mark Ruffalo was in Sundance for a new movie (which I've heard called alternately "charming" and "godawful") and talked to the crowd a little bit about how he'd want a standalone Hulk movie, were one to happen, to have some environmental themes to it. He's a good egg, on top of all the hotness, that one.

--- Picture Madness - There was a tie for Best Picture at the Producers Guild Awards last night between Gravity and 12 Years a Slave, which gives me hope that we can side-step an Oscar win for American Hustle (or The Wolf of Wall Street, god forbid). I mean if I were handing out that award out of their nominees I'd give it to Her probably, but Gravity and Slave would be my runners-up. Anyway go read what this means for the Oscar race over The Film Experience since Nathaniel actually knows what he's talking about.

--- Bat Manhood - Also at the PGAs last night, apparently there was all sorts of talk about Ben Affleck's cock. I kind of hate Ben Affleck but I do always hope that Jennifer Garner's having fun so that's good for her, I guess. Oh and Batman Vs Superman got pushed back a year, so we can enjoy an twelve months of endless chatter about it (I include myself as a guilty party with regards to that, of course).

--- Forever Hiddles - I could probably use this entire post to link to reviews coming out of Sundance, but then I'd be annoyed I'm not in Sundance, or more annoyed that is, so let's keep that sort of thing brief. Here's Michael C talking about Jim Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive, which I saw back at NYFF and have actually wanting to see again even though I was mixed on it.

--- Ryan's Rage - And here's a review of Ryan Reynolds' new movie The Voices, which actually sounds great - it's a black comedy about a serial killer, I guess. It co-stars Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick and Jackie Weaver. Great cast. Oh and finally here's a review of Frank, that movie about Michael Fassbender wearing a giant fake head, co-starring another adorable ginger, Domhnall Gleeson. We just saw the first clip from this the other day.

--- And finally, I guess Hugh Jackman instagrammed this video of himself doing push-ups for a charity or something, you can read about his purpose at his Instagram. But really, it's a video of Hugh Jackman doing push-ups, and the camera man is really intent on staring at Hugh's ass, so you know, yes please.
