Listen I know that Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom is a very serious - make that Serious - bio-pic about a great great man (make that Great Man) who just passed away - in no way do I mean to be arch about his legacy or anything even near that wheelhouse. But you're telling me that they couldn't let everybody know in the trailers that whilst we're being so very Serious we're also going to get Idris Elba working out in nothing but a pair itty little brown shorts in prison?

That seems disrespectful to me. Not disrespectful because I want to see that and that would help get my ass to the theater, but because they wouldn't let us know. If you were Nelson Mandela and they cast Idris fuckin' Elba to play you, wouldn't you want everybody to see Idris half-naked as you? I'd have made sure that he had to attend the premiere in those shorts, and been all, "Yeah, that's EXACTLY what I looked like back in the day right there. Drink it in, bitches."
