When I heard the news over the weekend that Adam Driver is up for Batman's sidekick in the Batman Vs. Superman sequel to Man of Steel - whatever they're calling that character, be it Robin or Nightwing or whatever - naturally it didn't take me long to think upon this scene of Driver punching the munchkin on Girls.
Ahh, this scene. Not necessarily due to the fact that it's got Adam Driver slamming the ham in it it is probably the scene where I really knew I loved this show - there are about five hundred different things going on in this scene, and Dunham & Co play them all at once. It's sexy, it's funny, it's cruel and disturbing. Anyway I knew that Girls was willing to go places other shows weren't going when it showed me Adam Driver draining the monster.
Anyway when I set out to gif this scene up I didn't quite recall it going on as long as it does, but it's a long scene (much like whatever Adam's yanking on there). So I made a lot of gifs, one for every shot of Adam in it, is my point. Twenty-two actually. Obviously we're taking the rest to after the jump. Come with us, wont you?

I'm sure Snyder is looking at a way to pay "homage" to that scene in a slightly homophobic way if Adam gets Nightwing.
Maybe in super slow mo and with some opera music, the bros would be down with it?
I hate that we live in a world now where we have to pretend that ugly people are attractive because it's PC.
Oh to live in the olden days when they would only allow men who looked like James Dean and Marlon Brando to grace the silver screen and men who looked like Adam Driver knew their place and got blue collar jobs suited to their...ahem, disposition and they weren't allowed within a 1000 feet of a movie set.
