Just got back from this morning's New York Film Festival screening of director Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave, as you see there to the left with Mr. McQueen in attendance for a post-film question and answer session. And you might have to excuse me for a bit whilst I gather up the shattered pieces of myself off the floor and try to just make it through the day. More to come later though, obviously.
