I'm seeing 12 Years a Slave this morning! It's totally like Christmas, just with two hours of horror and awfulness being my present. What's weird is I'm not anxious at all about this movie beforehand - even though I keep seeing it described as "harrowing," I'm going in to it with a big happy "Yay Fassy and Chiwetel and well-made cinema, yay!" attitude. We'll see how devastated I am for the rest of the day, then. Anyway I'll be back in here later today, in the afternoon, is my point. And then we can talk about things. Bye.
