Cue The Strings

Sorry again for the relative quietude today, but now I'm off again - not for the NYFF this time but rather to go hear the New York Philharmonic play music from Alfred Hitchcock movies! Glorious, glorious day. But don't worry yourselves to pieces - I'm here all day tomorrow. So, much like a certain stucco rooftop about ninety miles south of San Francisco, I'll catch you later.

I was there. Hearing the music played live with clips was pretty amazing even if sometimes some of the dialog drowned out the softer passages. And once again I'm reminded of how much the music of Vertigo is a another character in the film.
