I Am Link

.
--- Bat Boy - Rumors are going around that Joe Gordon-Levitt will play Batman in the Justice League movie. This makes sense if you saw The Dark Knight Rises, and I'm just gonna go ahead and assume you either saw TDKR or if you're one of the ten people who didn't you don't give a shit about having it spoiled at this point. Also, people seem to think there's a chance that Zach Snyder will lead up to the JL movie with the ending of Man of Steel, but he won't say.

--- Oregonian Trails - EW has the run-down on who the guest stars will be on the third season of Portlandia - Juliette Lewis! Bill Hader! Martina Navratilova? Anyway I hope they are a little bit more inspired this time than they were for the second season, which I found a little bit limp and redundant.

--- Blue Eyed Devil - Riding on the hype for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, the original 1966 film Django starring the stunningly beautiful Franco Nero in his absolute prime is getting a rerelease and AICN has the details on where it'll play.

--- Statue For Sam & Suzy - Over at The Film Experience, Nathaniel watched the Gotham Awards last night and blogged about them - Wes Anderson's marvelous Moonrise Kingdom won Best Picture, so they're good in my book.

--- Not So Final Girl - Glenn is back to recapping the Scream movies, much to my delight. He's in the middle of the third film, which means there's lots of Parker Posey pleasures to be had.

--- Pale Driver - The first batch of pictures from the second season of Girls is over at EW, and naturally there's a shot of Adam Driver in just his underwear and a cast, because Lena Dunham has the ability to see right into my subconscious. The show's back in January.

--- Early Lars - Haven't watched this yet but everybody was buzzing about Lars Von Trier's 1980 student film called Nocturne making its way online yesterday. Absolutely buzzing, I tells ya!

--- X Man - The Playlist got to chat with sexy French-Canadian film-maker Xavier Dolan about his new movie Laurence Anywhere as well as what he's doing next, which is a "psychological thriller." I always want more of those.

--- Material Guy - Andrew Dominik, the director of the fantastic Assassination of Jesse James and the upcoming and very much looked-forward-to Killing Them Softly, is going to make a Marilyn Monroe bio-pic called Blonde and starring Naomi Watts next, apparently. This is old news made new again by his desire to actually do it this time. I'm curious to see what he'll do with a feminine focus, since he's been so manly man so far.

--- Ink Stink - Kellan Lutz has signed on for a movie called Tatua, which is about a man with mystical tattoos that he can "pull off his skin" and turn into weapons. There are so many ways I could run with this, but in the end they all involve things tattooed on his penis.

--- New Old - Sharlto Copley talked with Empire about the Oldboy remake, excuse me reimagining, and tells us to cool our jets and not get all worked up about it.

--- Riddle Me That - Filming on the third season of Sherlock has been delayed from January to March because its stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are literally setting the world on fire with their combined star-power right now. Don't get too big for your britches (or lack thereof), boys!
