You betcha, maja. Good work!

And I have to say this film was an absolute pleasure to take frames from. Every shot is so pretty.

i haven't even seen it yet (i must, i know), but i remember those shoes and the leaves so vividly from some clip i've seen. so beautiful.

I liked it a lot, even though I think the criticism of it being an accumulation of influences, of being style over substance, holds water. Xavier Dolan seems like he's going places though. I'm dying to see his other stuff.

yeah, i've read about it. well, just have to see it for myself. :)
"i killed my mother" was also pretty good, i must say. and the boy is just gorgeous. yum.

I haven't seen IKMM yet, you've reminded me I need to get on that. And YES, XD is a beauty, i concur.

I find it funny that since Xavier Dolan is good looking his films get a free pass. They're pretentious nonsense that are completely unwatchable.

Niels Schneider, the object of desire in Les Amours Imaginaires,is also in IKMM. As is François Arnaud, who's excellent as Cesare in The Borgias on Showtime.

I've seen Les Amours Imaginaires 4 times now, and I think you nailed it w/your comment on style vs substance. Liked it a lot, obviously.
