That JGL gif is disturbing :/

It's supposed to be disturbing. I think this is the scene where his hustler character is beaten and raped. We need reminders sometimes that such things happen.

On behalf of myself and your other CO readers - I utterly agree.

I have said several times that these types of movies with unnecessary violence by the villains (even when this violence is only suggested) can create chaos to the real world because there exist many problematic people out there who can identify with these villains. This is now the situation with Nolans’ batman movies. First he created a monster out of Joker and was even awarded for doing so by making the character a crazy psychopath that destroys a city and kills people for no reason and now this chaotic situation with Bane which from the trailer alone you can say that he is a disturb person. It is not healthy to have such characters in movies that appeal to wide audiences and even more, children under 15. The Dark Knight was not an action adventure or even a comic book adaptation but rather a Thriller based on the famous character. It was not a more realistic version as was stated but rather a disturbing version of a favorite character.

Perhaps American Psycho isn't the best way to express your sentiment.

I picked violent scenes/movies for this post on purpose. It expressed my sentiment perfectly, which was to (somewhat silently) confuse the statement "Make love not war." If only it were that simple.

I feel that it is wildly unfair that Tom Hardy cannot move while Bale and JGL are so motion-ful!

Free Tom Hardy.
