i've seen this movie twice and for some reason i totally missed this "it's an expression" line. there's so many gems in this one.
Mavis deserved everything she got but because she was played by Charlize Theron you genuinely felt bad for her.
If the same role had been played by someone like Whitney Cumming I would have reveled in her misfortune.
