... on this story about Harry Potter director David Yates making a Doctor Who movie next was to see if the current doctor Matt Smith would be playing the lead role. He will not. I have never seen anything of any version of Doctor Who. But I did find that picture of Matt Smith yesterday, and he looks cute in it. And that's really all I have to say about that. Commence yelling at me to watch Doctor Who... now.

I am also fairly unversed in Doctor Who, but I have seen that picture for Matt Smith shows his underwear in it. And RJ saw it and said, 'it was good.'

He's utterly adorable in Doctor Who, if that helps. And uh, in "The Lodger," he has a heroic shower/towel scene.
I don't know about MS as The Doctor--I was much taken with hris Eccleston's darkness, and David Tennant's fey wit. Matt isn't quite up there. But I'd enjoy a snog with him.
So yes--set aside some time and see these most recent incarnations of The Doctor.
Starting [again] with the always sexy, sometimes darkly so, Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor in 2005 the show is quite fun and well written. But even though the seasons are only 13 episodes it can still take time to watch it all. When you have time definitely check in on the Doctor and the silly girls with whom he runs through time and space.
But really we need to focus on how no one has yet dangled the lovely and hilarious Donna Noble [Catherine Tate] or clever and pan-sexual Captain Jack Harkness [John Barrowman] in your face to entice you into watching Doctor Who? Come, people, start with the treats!
