Why is that plate of baby carrots so endearing? It just is! Who could ever stand a chance at not falling head-over-heels for somebody who answers the door while holding a tiny plate with several baby carrots on it? It's impossible. Impossible!
Anyway golly gee damn do I adore Olivia Williams. The Guardian has some sort of series (via) where I guess they ask actors what they see in the mirror, and hers is from start to finish completely delightful. My favorite bit:
"As I got changed for a recent photo-shoot, my pubes were referred to as 'retro'. I decided to take it as a compliment."
