After having just posted that yawn of a nothing teaser for the second season of A Game of Thrones I feel the need to make it up to you, so here's a trailer with actual, you know, things to look at! Fancy, that. Down below you'll find the trailer for John Dies at the End, which is an adaptation of a fairly delightful book by David Wong. The book's pretty insane, and in the right hands - and is the director of Phantasm the owener of the right hands? He knows crazy - could make for the craziest damn thing we've seen in awhile. This'll be out sometime next year. Anybody else read the book?

Reminds me of those "Tales From The Crypt" movies that came out in the late 90s
It's not a bad comparison in theory, only hopefully this'll be much MUCH better than any of those. It's a really fun book, really really fucking out there insane, so they need to just go for it.
I was so excited to finally see the trailer. It looks good, although there's nothing to suggest so far they got the comic tone right.

I haven't actually watched this trailer yet. I'm trying to decide if I should bother - I mean I'm gonna see the movie eventually anyway.
