You can see a couple more shots from this photo-shoot over at Fassinating Fassbender where the ever-awesome Simone is heading off to to TIFF for amongst other things screenings of Shame and A Dangerous Method. Can't wait to hear what she has to say as a fellow Fassaholic. I've got my tickets for both films at the New York Film Festival, but that ain't for another month. Too much waiting!
A question: I know there are a lot of factors involved in the politicking of Oscars, but what do we think the chances are at this point that Fassy might get a nomination? Everybody agrees that he's great in both, but Shame is probably gonna be too risque for the Academy, and from what I've heard out of screenings of A Dangerous Method is a lot of scattered reactions for the film as a whole. I mean I pay less attention to this talk than most but I'd still love to see Fassy get his overdue due already.

Since Shame’s future is unknown for US release, I’m thinking maybe it’s worth the 2 hrs drive and the price to see it in NYFF next month.
Based on some reviews he is so much better in Shame. Blame it on the rating.
