What The Hell Is A Palladia?

.

This news from Pitchfork would make a lot more sense if I knew.

"Radiohead's performance on their producer Nigel Godrich's TV show "From the Basement" is coming to America. The special will air on July 23-- this Saturday-- at 9 p.m. on Palladia. It'll also be on MTV2 at 3 a.m. on July 30. (Check local listings.) Set your DVR accordingly. The performance features Radiohead performing The King of Limbs in full, as well as a few new tracks."

I suppose I'll have to see if such a channel exists here in New York then. I've already watched the show online - it aired outside of the US a week or two ago, you can find it on YouTube. It's excellent stuff, maybe even better than the record versions, and the new song "The Daily Mail" is wonderful. They also tell us that the remixes Yorke & Co have been releasing will all be collected onto a disc of their own to be released this Fall, so if you care stay tuned for that! Channel 791 on my cable grid. It's actually a pretty cool channel to have. Great music performances in gorgeous HD.

If I have that channel here in AZ then you definitely have it in NY.

It's a great channel for days when you can't find anything to watch. And the weekends when they run marathons of all the festivals they have overseas are pretty awesome.
