Quote of the Day

.

Ahh Jarett, you prince amongst men. PopWrap interviewed Rodrigo Santoro today - I guess he voices a character in Rio, out today - and got some goods of the sort we seek here at MNPP. Talking about what went down with his character on Lost, they move on:

PopWrap: But it must have been nice to wear clothes in an American production.

Rodrigo: [laughs] Here’s the thing. I’m very careful about those things because it’s so easy to be typecast. In “Charlie’s Angels,” “Love Actually” and “300,” I did find a reason for them to be undressed. My main thing is to always ask, "are we doing this for the sake of nudity?” No. One guy was surfing, one was a love scene and the other guy – I can’t even explain that costume [laughs]. Everyone was naked in "300." So as long as there’s a real reason, I try to be ok with it. I’m always aware that I don’t want to be naked without a reason.

But Rodrigo, you being naked is a reason! It's a reason unto itself. It's a reason to get up in the morning, to brush one's hair... okay bringing Sarah Goldfarb's sad speech from Requiem For a Dream into this and mixing it up with Anya's speech from "The Body" is a total boner-killer. Nevermind!
