I've got a new one of my weekly weekend movie previews up at Celebrity Beehive today, wherein I judge Ioan Gruffudd for his attachment to his impossible name, and then make it pretty clear that there's about a 75 to 1000% chance that I'm gonna be seeing The Roommate this weekend. I so hope it lives up to what I want it to be, I love crazy bitch thrillers - The Hand That Rocks the Cradle! Single White Female! - and am completely in the mood for one right now. Of course I said the same thing about wanting to see The Rite last weekend and I never got around to that. Did any of y'all?.

I did see The Rite last weekend and....I wanted SO much more from it.
(mild spoilers) I mean, once my Anthony gets possessed, he has a fun old time with it (bonus for him saying "titties", which I now can't get out of my head, while I giggle like I'm twelve) and prerequisite young possessed girl did her lip-licking, "rape me" spouting best (bonus points for having her be pregnant out to HERE), but I wanted some truly crazy shit! I mean, come on! You know everyone is holding you up next to The Exorcist - go with it!
(slightly more major spoilers) So, normally it can take months and months to exorcise a demon, but because main character has such pretty lips and an intrepid girl reporter sidekick, it takes him....an hour? Maybe a whole night? LAME. I want my demons much more possess-y.
