The Crazy Dreams of Herzog and Noé

Do we have word on when Werner Herzog's giant 3D epic adventure about staring at cave walls is out? I need to look that up. Hold on a gosh-darned second, I'm looking it up! God! Well Cave of Forgotten Dreams, as it's called, is out in March in the UK but I don't see a US date yet. But there's a trailer! (via)

We already know that IFC Films bought the movie so I'm guessing it'll play here in NY at their theater and probably get some kind of a release via their On Demand channel. But I see on the film's Wiki-page that The History Channel owns the TV rights - they partially funded the doc - so maybe that complicates matters. Hrm. Gimme!

Speaking of IFC though I just got an email that their theater here in New York is playing the original 160 minute version of Gaspar Noé's Enter the Void starting this weekend for just a week! I've missed the film so far and heard wildly varying opinions all over the place... I'm not sure if hopping in on the extended-cut of something so deranged sounding is the right way to go or not. Decisions! So many fucking decisions.

I saw it at a film festival in my town and I'm not sure if it was the 160 min version. I think it was. It certainly felt like it was that long....obviously I didn't like it, but I'd be interested to read what you think of it.
