Yes! Please! Yes Please!

.
Unless I stumble across a story titled "Jake Gyllenhaal Only Has Eyes For My New Plaid Pants' Blogger" this week I have little doubt that the following headline and rumor-mongering over at Slash will be the most thrilling one I see all week:

"Could Alfonso Cuarón’s ‘Gravity’ Lose Robert Downey, Jr.?

Warning: this is a half- speculative story that could easily be worked out within by the end of the week, so it could amount to nothing. But it’s one more piece of the difficult mosaic that has been the development process for Gravity, the space-bound thriller from Alfonso Cuarón. After a long search, the film finally found a lead in Sandra Bullock. And it has boasted, almost since day one, one of the strongest possible supporting actors: Robert Downey, Jr. But now there’s a possibility that scheduling will knock Mr. Downey out the film’s orbit.

Mike Fleming at Deadline says he’s hearing that Mr. Downey will have to pull out of the film thanks to scheduling issues, and while he doesn’t say anything specific, that means Sherlock Holmes 2"

Unfortunately Slash goes on to point out that both Gravity and SH2 are Warner Bros. films so they'll probably work this out. Dammit! Just when I thought the one thing making me sour towards a new Cuarón movie - something I should never feel sour towards - was maybe gone it seems I might not get my wish. Why does Robert Downey Jr. have to ruin everything? Ugh.

That headline is certainly better for you than this one is.

No, I am definitely NOT giggling. I am practicing how to properly pronounce "Swillenhaal."

At her current pace (she moves rather swiftly, hardy har har), she's going to run out of guys to either slam in songs or pretend- marry in songs before you know it.
