Quote of the Day

.

Ryan Gosling, Canadian and cat lover. In an Interview magazine, uh, interview, Ryan Gosling gives his thoughts on growing up in Canada:

"I loved growing up in Canada. It’s a great place to grow up, because — well, at least where I grew up — it’s very multicultural. There’s also good health care and a good education system. So it’s a great place to be from, although, when I was 8, I was walking to school one day and I saw a frozen cat by the side of the road, and I picked it up and hit it against a tree."

Aww, how adorable! This reminds me that when I was young, maybe 12 or so, I saw a dead squirrel in the middle of the road in front of my house, and it kept getting run over by every car driving by. For some reason that I'll never grasp now I decided I had to move it out of the road. So I got a big stick and went up to it and started prying it off the pavement, and its face, which had been hidden, flopped around and both its eyeballs were hanging out of its head, dangling from the ruined sockets. Ahh memories. Thank you, Ryan Gosling!

YUM. To wet Gosling, that is, not frozen kitties.
