I Am Link

.
.
--- Code Hot - That's the first official image with regards to Source Code, Jake's movie with Duncan "Moon" Jones, via. That's Jake with Jones. Naturally, I am looking forward to this movie. It's already set to come out in March. I am also looking forward to, naturally, Love and Other Drugs, and I got to see the pillowtastic poster in person yesterday at the movie theater and almost set up camp beneath it, never to move again. Swoon.

--- Endless Hours - Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, with Jimmy Franco playing the dude that got stuck under a rock and had to saw his own arm off to escape, is totally making people freak out.

--- In Related News - James Franco likes to masturbate a lot. What a coincidence, I like to masturbate while thinking about James Franco masturbating a lot. We have so much in common, he and I. We both like soup, and talking or not talking, and jerking off.

--- Boffo Bandits - Terry Gilliam might be converting Time Bandits to 3D for a re-release?

--- The Big 20 - You should email Stacie Ponder a list of your 20 favorite horror movies. She's not letting on as to what she wants this information for - obviously she's revealed herself at last to be some sort of spam-bot - but surely it will be cool, whatever it is, even if it isn't, which it won't be. What?

--- Raggedy Andy - THR got the chance to chat with Andrew Garfield a bunch, so they did, and then I linked to it. He talks about Never Let Me Go and David Fincher and hanging out with Jesse Eisenberg at the mall and then getting bendy for Spider-Man.

--- Portman Pull - Is Natalie Portman gonna take the lead in Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity, which Angelina Jolie said no twice to? Doesn't it seem like Nat's got like a billion projects lined up? I surprised myself by not minding the suggestion of Sandy Bullock for the role, but Natalie's always fine by me (well, unless George Lucas is involved).

--- Switch Hitters - This is quite the trade-off - Tom Hardy replacing Michael Fassbender in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy? I guess Fassy's too busy with X-Men Muppet Babies, they say. I can't possibly be upset over the chance for more Tom Hardy, but at the same time I mourn the seconds not spent with Fassbender. Oh, confused emotions.

--- Tim Says No - Rumor says that Martin Freeman, aka Tim from the original awesome The Office, turned down the role of Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit. Dang it, he woulda been awesome. Love him.

--- This Is Madness - No Guillermo! Pull yourself together! According to "sources" the studio wants James McAvoy for the lead in Guillermo Del Toro's adaptation of HP Lovecraft's At The Mountains of Madness, which is all hooray. But according to these same "sources" GDT wants Tom Cruise for the role! No! Dude! While I get that it's a part that could play off of Cruise's crazy alien-loving self, I really don't want that shit distracting me. When our hero bugs his eyes out and screams at the shoggoth the last thing I want to picture is Katie Holmes' face in the inky darkness.

Why can't Fassy (his name now, says I) and Tom Hardy just do a movie together? Try to out-dapper each other, it would be epic.
