Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

... you can learn from:

Bubble Boy (2001)

Mrs. Livingston (Swoosie Kurtz): ... and the prince climbed up Rapunzel's hair to the top of the tower and said, "Come with me, and we'll live happily ever after." Then Rapunzel left her plastic bubble and died. The end.

Bubble Boy came up in the comments of this post at The Film Experience about the trailer for Love and Other Drugs and now I can't stop thinking about it. I have never seen any of the Dollars trilogy but I have seen Bubble Boy at least three times. How ya like them apples, Leone?

NEVER seen any of the Eastwood/Leone flicks? Wow... I'm shocked--and impressed. Just how the HECK did you manage to avoid them? (They used to be on TV all the time when I was a kid...)

I might've seen bits and/or pieces when I was a kid - for one, my father's a huge Eastwood freak (whose father isn't?) - but I totally don't remember any of it if I did so it totally doesn't count.

But they've been on my list for years to plunk down and do, I just haven't yet. I'm too busy watching Jake roll around in a plastic bubble with midgets chasing him, obviously!

Well, you've got your priorities...and who am I to criticize, really? Despite my claims at being a gorehound, I still haven't seen the original Friday the 13th...
