Oh yes yes yes yes hell yes! This is the sort of weird semi-psychedelic shit I wanted to see coming at us from Darren Aronofsky's crazy ballerina battle movie Black Swan. Via Slash:
You guys have no idea - none! never! - how psyched up I am for this movie. Darren's four for four from where I stand and this new one's been hitting close to my heart on the little bit I know of it even before these pictures. I think what's going on is I'm tossing some of my Suspiria and The Red Shoes love at it, is what it is, and then you stir in Aronofsky and Portman and my beloved Winona Ryder and Barbara Hershey and Vincent Cassel and the rest of the cast and I can't help but turn the notch up to eleven. YES. The film's premiering at the Venice Film Festival in September... I really hope it plays the NYFF too. They filmed it right there at Lincoln Center, so they oughta!

If you like Barbara Hershey, JA, you should see a movie from 1969 called "Last Summer"......I would also mention "Beaches", which was my favorite movie when I was 12, but you would probably revoke my membership to MNPP. I am also dying to see "Black Swan".
There is NO SHAME in loving Beaches, breedaniels. I could quote it at you for hours. "What the hell are you, THE CLOTHES POLICE?" Love.
