I am Part of the Problem, Again

.
If someone like me, someone clinically insane with Gyllen-lust, didn't go to see Prince of Persia this weekend is it any shock the movie didn't come anywhere near beating the ogre this weekend?

Although today the film did slip into a distant second place ahead of the Sex & the City crones it was still a pretty minor action-star debut for my Jake. Not terrifically surprising, I guess - even I've been having trouble instigating enthusiasm within myself for it. Oh well. I still plan to go some night this week.

I ask y'all now - anybody see it? Thoughts? Just how intoxicated should I be when I do get around to going?

I saw it last night with my two teenage sons in a mostly empty theater. We all said it was better than expected. To me, it felt like the first Mummy Brendan Fraser film - an action film with a sense of fun.

Alfred Molina's tea party spouting ostrich racer character is one of the highlights, too.

Not enough of Jake's naked chest, but we can't have everything. 2 1/2 stars.

Saw it yesterday. It wasn't awful, but I do think I'd enjoy it more if I was a bit tipsy.

Also - too many snakes.

It was all right-you may actually not want a lot of people around for the shirtless wrestling scenes at the beginning.
