I Am Link

.
--- Woof - First off I just need to post that picture there to the right there that was released yesterday of Joe Manganiello as the werewolf Alcide in the third season of True Blood (via). Just in case anybody missed it. See more of Manganiello here and here.

Just a few days til Blood's back y'all! So so excited!

--- Pro Milla - I don't really get to talk about how much I like Milla Jovovich here at the blog because I never see any of her crappy movies. But I find her immensely likable. So seeing this morning that she's taken the role of the lead character in the new horror flick by the director of Final Destination 2 brings me pleasure. And apparently it's a total Final Destination rip-off, with the murderous force of Death being replaced by the murderous force of bad luck. The movie is called... Bad Luck. Mkay. Just be fun, dammit!

--- Funny Or Hot - Thank goodness, he's acting still - Justin Theroux has joined the cast of the next flick by David "Wet Hot American Summer" Wain, called Wanderlust, opposite stars Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston. As for Aniston, she makes a whole lotta crap that waters down the occasional not-crap (Good Girl! Friends With Money!) so it's hard to muster much enthusiasm where she sticks her face in, but everybody else involved is so cool that I gotta.

--- Black Jack Vamp - Some details about the Fright Night remake made their way online yesterday, including its setting - Las Vegas - and other junk (cheesy magicians!). Colin Farrell and Toni Collette make me care, against my will.

--- A Perfect Zero - I said so in the comments but I love that while most geeks like me were ranting and raving about the 25th anniversary of The Goonies yesterday, Nathaniel went and honored the other movie celebrating the same milestone... Perfect, the aerobics flick with Jamie Lee Curtis and John Travolta. Gotta love it.

--- See In Splice - I'm gonna give my thoughts on Vincento Natali's Splice later today when I get around to it (saw it last night), but if you're curious to hear Natali talk about some of the (spoilery) influences woven into the flick, read this. His dismissal for Species is amusing.

--- And finally, John Noble does deserve a goddamn Emmy.

I've never heard of this guy and I have seen Season 1 of True Blood, he might just give Jason Stackhouse a run for his (shirtless) money.
